Louis XVI of France
When Louis XVI was coronated into the throne, he also took France's huge debt upon himself that was created by his preedecessors Louis XIV and Louis XV. This, coupled with his young age and inexperience at ruling, led to him not being a successful monarch. Louis XVI tried to limit the power of the 3rd Estate when it declared itself the National Assembly with thing such as the events pertaining to the Tennis Court Oath. While he wanted he success for his country, he didn't have the skills nor rescources to make it so. So to appeal to the people of France, he pretended to like their ideas of revolution and even showing up in France dressed in the colors of the Revolution. Louis, however, didn't really support the 1st Estate's ideas of Revolution as he still kept feudal rights. He was later executed by the people of France on January 20, 1793 by the guillotine to be replaced by Napolean Bonaparte
